Our youth are sponsoring “THE WRONG PATH” Judgment House this weekend and next. I must say I am very impressed with the hard work each person has put in. We are truly blessed with great talent. The theme of the program is all about choices. Every day there are 2 paths that are set before us. Each of us must make a choice of which path we will take.

One path looks boring and restricted at first, but those who are traveling on it know that it is filled with joy and excitement. Each day on this path leads to another adventure. Those who find their way to the end of this path, would gladly travel it again to reach the ending. For this path leads to happiness, peace and eternity with God.

The other path looks exciting, fun-filled and spontaneous, yet those who travel on it soon find themselves lonely, trapped, and unfulfilled. Each day on this path leads to another disappointment. Those who find their way to the end of this path, would give anything for one more chance to turn around. They would give anything for the chance to choose the other path. This path leads to death and total separation from God.

Joshua, a man of great faith and the predecessor of Moses, knew that he would soon reach the end of his path and he set before the children of Israel the great question~~”Who will you serve?”

Just as they had to make this decision, you and I also have to make it. Today, you must choose which path you will take. No one else can choose for you, it is your decision alone to make.

“And if it is evil in your eyes to serve the Lord, choose this day whom you will serve,

whether the gods your fathers served in the region beyond the River,

or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you dwell.

But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” ~ Joshua 24:15 ESV

Father, I pray for those who are reading this right now. Holy Spirit, reveal to each one which path they are on. Draw them to the right path. I pray if they are traveling the “wrong path” that this would be the day they would choose to turn around and travel the path that leads to eternity with You.
For those who are traveling the path to You Father, I pray You bless them with strength, encouragement and courage to continue faithfully on. Remind them of the paths ending. Give them a glimpse of things to come.
And always, we give You all praise and glory. In Jesus precious name, Amen.
